How it Works

 

The Utillian 5 promises a potent and pleasurable vaping session. But how do we get the U5 running? As with any Wax vapourizer, it is recommended to charge your device fully before you use it.

Here are the basic steps on how to use the Utillian 5:

• Step 1: Quickly press the button 5 times to turn on the Utillian 5.
• Step 2: Remove the Mouthpiece and use the tool at the bottom of it to scoop up some Wax.
• Step 3: Place the Mouthpiece back onto the rest of the unit.
• Step 4: Press the button twice to cycle through the 4 preset voltages.
• Step 5: Press and hold the button to start heating. Inhale when ready.

The U5 heats up almost instantly, but for those of you who like to have longer or stronger sessions, I recommend holding down the button for a little bit longer than usual. This will ensure you heat up as much concentrate as you can before inhaling.

Temperature Flexibility

 

The Utillian 5 is one of the few dab pens that comes with 4 temperature settings. You can use either one of the Utillian 5 coils that come in titanium and twisted Kanthal form. Each setting is determined by a different amount of white LED’s:

• 2.2 Volts – 1 White LED
• 2.4 Volts – 2 White LEDs
• 2.6 Volts – 3 White LEDs
• 2.8 Volts – 4 White LEDs

At lower heat, the Utillian 5 brings out great flavours. In this setting, it’s not about big clouds but more about enjoying the taste. We thoroughly tested each of the settings and found that the bottom 2 are more geared toward those who prefer flavour and like to sip on a session.

The highest 2 temperature settings really brought the thunder, pumping out some serious clouds. These settings are better suited for those who enjoy more vapour or want to clear a load in one draw.

Vapour Quality

 

The Utillian 5 is a workhorse but how good is its vapour? Well, the first step to high quality vapour is airflow, and the U5 provides a mechanism to adjust the airflow. You can twist the ring to get more airflow—the more holes are showing, the freer the airflow.

The Utillian 5 is known for making big clouds. It’s strong and can last a long time without needing to charge it again. You will get two types of coils to enhance the vaping experience – The Triple Titanium Coils and The Triple Twisted Kanthal.

The triple titanium coils can handle a lot of wax and make thick vapour. The 4mm Kanthal coil is also good for vapour, but it’s better for smaller amounts and more flavour.

Another cool feature is that the Uillian 5 is compatible with the Utillian Glass Bubbler which is perfect for those that want to combine large amounts of vapour with water filtrated hits.
